The Empire Justice Center is launching a Summer Diversity Clerkship Program out of their Rochester Office. Running in tandem with the Monroe County Bar Association Clerkship Program, Empire Justice Center’s Summer Diversity Clerkship Program seeks well-rounded and passionate second-year law students who have not only achieved academic excellence but are also active in professional and community activities.
Empire Justice Center strongly believes that a diverse work force results in better service to clients and a better work environment for attorneys and staff. This program seeks to increase diversity in the legal profession by attracting qualified students from historically under-represented groups to work in a paid position with the organization.
Eligible students are required to submit a formal application, current resume, undergraduate and law school transcripts, a personal statement and the designated writing sample to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before January 17, 2014.
